Stewards To Equal Educational Resources (S.T.E.E.R.) is a project awarded and supported in whole or in part by the U.S, Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA), administered in California by the State Librarian.
The project has various components to assist our community, Our goal is to provide services that improve our patron's ability to gather and apply information that furthers their personal or family health and well being. We aspire to be stewards of resources and provide equal access to educational course work that is inclusive of all community members.
S.T.E.E.R. provided empathy training by Ryan Dowd to bring awareness of the homeless to our staff, volunteers, community members and partners.
