 Part-Time Bookkeeper

The Del Norte County Library District is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to manage claims, payroll, and financial records and correspondence. 

Candidates will have strong computer literacy skills and will have experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, internet, and use of e-mail. Also desired is knowledge of accounting principles and various office functions. Candidates must show evidence of written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. 

Grant writing and grant budgeting experience is desired. 

Workload is 19 hours per week and the pay is $18.50 hourly. The Bookkeeper will report to the Library Director. This position is open until filled.

 DN Reads Learning Facilitator

Note this role is dependent on grant funds and is guaranteed until Dec 2026

The Del Norte County Library District literacy program Reads is seeking 2 Learning Facilitators to work closely with the Del Norte Reads Program Manager to support and run the literacy program. Examples of job tasks include securing grant funds for the program, management of learners enrollment and progress in the program, and training of volunteers/tutors.

Candidates must have a valid CA Driver’s license, current proof of vehicle insurance, and a reliable vehicle, an ability to be trained and willingness to accept and respond to direction, a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized college or university and/or significant experience and expertise in teaching and learning, written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, experience in working with the public/customer service.

Workload is approximately 75 hours per month with pay at $44 hourly. The learning facilitators will report directly to the Del Norte Reads Program Manager. Applications close 11/3/2025 at Midnight.
