The library has grown far beyond the space we have today. We want to create a library that serves the whole community, at every stage of life: a place where children can explore and create, teens can learn and connect, adults can work and study, families can attend programs, and everyone can find the resources and support they need.
Our new building will give us room to do things our current space simply cannot accommodate.
A Library Built for Our Community
With dedicated art and exploration spaces, additional storage, and a children's restroom.
With computers, VR activities, peer tutoring, and room to grow our collection.
For adults, families, and individuals who simply need a quiet place to spend time.
Where community members can create, repair, experiment, and learn using tools such as 3D printers, Cricut machines, button makers, and other technology.
Expanding on what we currently offer to allow people to borrow not just books, but tools, games, educational equipment, kitchen items, craft supplies, telescopes, microscopes, and more.
Where local organizations, clubs, educators, and community groups can gather and learn.
Bringing literacy and learning directly into the library. Increased access to Adult and Youth tutoring, High School Equivalency support, life and job skill training, drop in help, and all around community and Learner driven education.
For classes, presentations, movie nights, community events, and other programs.
Including places where traveling professionals, students, and community members can work.
Creating another welcoming place to gather while supporting the library.
Allowing us to expand our programs and collections without sacrificing public space.
And we're not stopping there. We envision opportunities for local businesses and community organizations to partner with the library, putting useful items and services within reach of the people who need them.
